The advent of protein pastas like Chickpea Pasta
Chickpea Pasta is a great dish for when you are a bit short on time. It is quick to cook and doesn't require any soaking of beans ahead of time.
Pastas made from legumes have emerged onto the market in recent years. They provide a lot of protein and give you the chance to also achieve the Italian / Mediterranean cuisine.
The pasta we provide contains chickpeas and also some lentils. Unlike many on the market, it is a 100% organic. Even though it is more expensive, we like to provide the healthiest option for our clients in the vegetarian / vegan meal kits.
The six Ayurvedic tastes in this meal
In this dish, there are all six Ayurvedic tastes. Ghee provides the sweet taste and the spices and pasta provide the bitter, pungent and astringent tastes. A squeeze of lemon provides the sour taste.
It goes well with these vegetables
This is a great dish to showcase whatever vegetables are in season. For example, you can airfry some asparagus to go with it. Or airfry strips of squash or sweet potato. If you are in a hurry, simply cook some kale, collard greens or spinach to add with it. This only takes a couple of minutes to cook.
